Karina Vismara
Karina Vismara is a guitarist and singer/songwriter from Argentina. She was born in 1990 in a countryside town called Balcarce. She started playing piano and singing at the age of 9 when she discovered her passion for The Beatles. Three years later, she had learnt to play guitar and bass and was playing in many bands. With these bands she performed at the local Theatre, summer festivals and expositions, pubs, bars... By the age of 17 she had written her own songs and wanted to produce them. In 2008, with the help of her dear dad she turned a room into a little recording studio were she produced the songs that gave her a place to study at Paul McCartney's school LIPA. In July 2010 she graduated from LIPA with a 'Diploma in Popular Music and Sound Technology'. She passed the course with distinction. In September, she moved to Guildford to do a degree in Sound Design at ACM (Academy of Contemporary Music) where she formed a band with other students. They are currently working on an EP to be released in the following months as well as producing a videoclip for the EP single 'Only You'
